コロナ以前は精力的に制作に取り組んでいましたが、ここ数年はアートから離れた生活を送っていました。その間に家庭を持ち、子どもを授かり、転職も経験しました。制作に充てられる余裕はほとんどありませんでしたが、今年は思い切って再始動することにしました。8月中旬にはレンタルギャラリーにてソロ個展を開催する予定です。限られた時間の中でどこまで制作できるか不安もありますが、できる限りの準備を進めてまいります。また、作家としてのアイデンティティを保つために、「YESK」というアーティスト名義を自分に与えてみました。特に深い意味はなく、半ば気まぐれで決めたものなので、途中でやめるかもしれません。

Before COVID, I was actively making art. But for the past few years, I was away from it.During that time, I started a family, had a child, and changed jobs. I had almost no time or energy to create.But this year, I decided to start again.　In mid-August, I will have a solo exhibition at a rental gallery.　I'm not sure how much I can make with my limited time, but I will do my best to prepare.　Also, to keep my identity as an artist, I decided to use the name “YESK.”　There’s no deep meaning behind it—it’s just something I came up with, so I might stop using it later.
